When the Democrats get reelected: Will the Conservatives be happy to pay their back Taxes?

07 Jun

Since the Conservative side sends 10% tithes to the church, and have all the American Patriotism. Shouldn’t that include them paying their taxes, and back taxes to America?
In America the poor pay the majority of the taxes.

If you are paying taxes each year, why do you get back money?

05 Jun

Everyone has to pay taxes and does so yearly. If you’re paying taxes, why do you get back money? That doesn’t make sense to me.

Thanks!!!

PS: Sorry, I know it’s a basic, foolish question…

Is it possible for one to send an offer and compromise to Irs for back taxes “on there own”?

02 Jun

I owe a substantial amount of back taxes and just recently started a job that is taking taxes out and would like to settle my back taxes with the IRS. At this point I have no garnishments but a few tax levies on credit report. Is it recommended that I use a high cost tax attorney or is this a battle i may be able to accomplish on my own?I realize I only have one chance to send in an offer and compromise but what does an attorney do for me that I couldn’t??
