Would Canada consider a system of FREE Legal Services in each Province?

16 May

Like similar to Free Healthcare, except you make legal services a right of the Canadian citizen by requiring that Attorney fees be paid in the form of taxes.

Now, there is equal justice under the law, not just for criminal prosecutions, but civil torts, contract breaches, discrimination in the workplace, everybody can now see a Lawyer like they can see a Doctor.

Depending on the severity of your injustice, you wait for your time to be represented. For example, if you are fired because of your race or national origin, you would get immediate attention.

A system like this would empower some of Canada’s poorest citizens to afford the same legal recourses as wealthy businessmen. Would Canada consider Legal Reform like this?
Or maybe this could be a 2 tier system, where you must begin with a public lawyer, and if that lawyer determines your case is not strong enough for litigation, you can then choose to pay a hefty fee and get a private attorney
Also there would be a key exception to this Legal Reform Idea.

If the entity you are suing is the Govt of Canada, then the Canadian Government would have STRICT laws limiting its powers against an individual citizen/resident, including the amount of funding of its advocates….and Govt money to support your advocates would be your unconditional right…the Legal Governing body would be severed from the rest of Canada’s Govt Workings.

The country of Marxland has the following income tax and social insurance system.?

07 Mar

Each citizen’s income is taxed at an average tax rate of 100%. A social insurance system then provides transfers to each citizen such that each citizen’s after-tax income is exactly equal. That is, each citizen gets (through a government transfer payment) an equal share of the income tax revenue.

What is the incentive for one individual citizen to work and earn income?

What will the total tax revenue in Marxland be?

What will be the after-tax income (including the transfer payment) for each citizen?

Do you think such a tax system that creates perfect equality will work?

Does the tax payer pay the court system and the attorney fees that it takes to fight in court over child support? If it is the tax payers who are supporting the child support system then why is it costing the individual so much money to fight it in court? I do not understand!

OK LAWYERS, tax attorneys, in the tax books you get every yr., it speaks to the system being a voluntary one,?

04 Mar

Has the question of the system being voluntary been settled by the courts? if so pls cite case law
