I left a Texas company in 2006 and got some severance pay in 2006 and will get some in 2007. I moved to Virginia after I left my Texas job. Do I need to pay Virginia state income tax on my Texas severance pay in 2006? Do I need to pay in 2007?

My state taxes weren’t filed last year, I was wondering where I can get the forms to file past taxes or at least the names of the forms.

I will be working in DC and living in Virginia for 10 weeks this summer. The W-4 I fill out for my federal taxes, is it the same in VA or do I fill out a diff one? Which form do I fill out for the state taxes. Am I excempt from any payments, since I will filling out so many (I also file local taxes because I will still be a Puerto Rican recident)?
